Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to FindMyChip component search, RFQ, quote, sourcing, order support, content, and related admin-operated services.
1. Parties and Acceptance
These Terms are between you and MELOOK International Trade Limited, the operator of FindMyChip, established in 2023, with registered address at RM11, 13/F, BLK C, WONG KING IND. BLD., 192-198 CHOI HUNG RD, SAN PO KONG, KOWLOON, HONG KONG. By using FindMyChip, submitting an RFQ, communicating with us, or placing an order based on a quote, you agree to these Terms.
If you use FindMyChip for a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Service Scope
FindMyChip is a B2B electronic component search and sourcing platform. The website helps users search component records, review product and manufacturer information, submit RFQs, receive quotes, and coordinate sourcing, quality checks, payment, and shipment through our team and third-party suppliers.
Product pages, prices, stock, availability, datasheet references, lead times, alternatives, and related technical information are informational and may change. A transaction is not final until we issue a written quote, you accept it, and required payment terms are satisfied.
3. Accounts and Admin Access
The public website does not currently provide public user registration or OAuth sign-in. Admin access is limited to authorized FindMyChip personnel using email and password credentials. Admin users must protect their credentials, use only accounts assigned to them, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
4. RFQs, Quotes, Orders, and Payment
- RFQs must include accurate contact details, requested part numbers, quantities, target pricing if applicable, and relevant sourcing requirements.
- Quotes may include price, currency, availability, lead time, shipping, inspection, payment, expiration, and other commercial terms. Quote terms control if they conflict with website marketing copy.
- Payment methods may include bank wire transfer, PayPal, credit card providers, or other B2B payment methods stated in a quote. Third-party payment providers may apply their own terms and fees.
- Buyers are responsible for import duties, taxes, customs clearance, compliance with local regulations, and accuracy of shipping information unless a quote states otherwise.
- We may decline, cancel, or revise a quote or order if stock changes, a supplier cannot verify authenticity, pricing changes materially, payment fails, export controls apply, or the request appears unlawful or fraudulent.
5. Quality, Returns, and Refunds
FindMyChip focuses on authentic, traceable components from authorized distributors, manufacturers, and vetted suppliers. We may offer visual inspection, traceability documentation, and third-party testing for qualifying orders.
Defective or incorrect parts should be reported promptly with order details, photos, labels, packaging, and test evidence where available. Replacement, return, refund, or credit options are handled according to the written quote, order terms, supplier constraints, component condition, and applicable law. Custom-sourced, special-order, opened, damaged, installed, or time-sensitive components may be non-cancellable or non-returnable unless required by law or agreed in writing.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, unlawful, infringing, confidential, or unauthorized information.
- Use FindMyChip to source restricted goods, evade sanctions, violate export controls, or support unlawful end uses.
- Scrape, crawl, overload, reverse engineer, bypass rate limits, attack, or interfere with the website, APIs, admin systems, or security controls.
- Copy, republish, or commercially exploit site content, component data, blog content, case studies, or schemas except as permitted by law or written agreement.
- Upload malware, spam, abusive content, or materials that violate another party's rights.
7. User Submissions and Communications
You retain ownership of RFQ details, notes, email messages, and other content you submit. You grant FindMyChip a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, store, copy, transmit, disclose, and process that content as needed to provide quotes, source parts, communicate with you, manage orders, improve the platform, comply with obligations, and enforce these Terms.
Do not submit trade secrets, controlled technical data, personal information, or sensitive content unless it is necessary for the sourcing request and you have authority to provide it.
8. Intellectual Property
FindMyChip, its website design, software, source code, databases, structured data, graphics, logos, product content, blog content, case studies, and related materials are owned by FindMyChip or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights to you.
Manufacturer names, part numbers, datasheets, product images, and third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification, compatibility, sourcing, or informational purposes.
9. Third-Party Products, Links, and Providers
FindMyChip works with third-party distributors, manufacturers, carriers, testing labs, freight forwarders, customs brokers, payment providers, analytics providers, email providers, and infrastructure providers. Third-party products, datasheets, supplier inventory, payment services, shipping services, and external websites are not controlled by FindMyChip and may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, warranties, and limitations.
10. Disclaimers
The website and informational content are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FindMyChip disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, and accuracy of product data, pricing, stock, alternatives, or third-party content.
You are responsible for validating component suitability, datasheets, tolerances, regulatory requirements, export classification, safety requirements, and production use before purchasing or installing any component.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FindMyChip will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits; production downtime; lost business; data loss; procurement delay; or costs of substitute goods arising from use of the website, quotes, sourcing services, third-party suppliers, carriers, payment providers, or components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FindMyChip's total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to FindMyChip for the specific order giving rise to the claim, or USD 100 if no paid order exists.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FindMyChip, its affiliates, personnel, suppliers, and service providers from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your RFQs, submitted content, misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, violation of law, export-control breach, or infringement of third-party rights.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to FindMyChip, decline RFQs, cancel pending requests, or restrict admin access if we believe these Terms were violated, a request creates legal or security risk, payment or identity cannot be verified, or continued service is not commercially or operationally reasonable. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by [NEEDS LEGAL REVIEW: Governing Law], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in [NEEDS LEGAL REVIEW: Venue and Dispute Forum], unless mandatory law gives you rights in another forum.
Before starting formal proceedings, the parties will try in good faith to resolve the dispute through written notice and business-level escalation.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The Last Updated date shows when this page was last revised. Continued use of FindMyChip after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms for future use and future transactions.
