What is the temperature output on REF02?

The REF02 includes a unique temperature-proportional voltage output (pin 3) that produces 2mV/°C. This can be used for system temperature monitoring or for software compensation of temperature-dependent errors without an additional sensor.

What input voltage does REF02 need?

REF02 requires minimum 7V input (2V dropout above 5V output) and supports up to 40V. This wide range allows direct operation from 12V or 24V supply rails. Quiescent current is approximately 1.2mA, resulting in low self-heating.
